Isha Hussain

I am a second-year BSc Occupational Therapy student at London South Bank University. I wish to apply
and express my interest for the role of a tutor with you.

I am very keen to pursue a career in the Education Industry which enables me to facilitate the development of students in my community and beyond.

My enthusiasm for teaching only continues to grow further by the day.
I would feel very fortunate to work with you as a tutor and ensure the development and progression of
each and every student. I believe that students should be able to leave their tutoring sessions with a confident approach to their studies as well as being well aware of their next targets.

My relevant work experiences have given me the opportunity to work with a diverse number of people originating from multiple backgrounds. Working with special needs children as an Occupational Therapy student has fuelled my passion to promote equality for students with diverse needs.

Time management and organization was also key to this role, as I had to ensure students completed their exams within the time limits assigned, as well as ensuring the preparation of the examination rooms being completed
before students arrived.

Another such experience that has furthered my passion for teaching is my private tutoring experience with Science and Maths students. Watching my students develop and progress during my time tutoring them, has increased my enthusiasm to accelerate student development and progression. I also took notes on my students during sessions in order to record specific developments and further targets we needed to tackle.

To summarize, I believe my skills and experiences as well as my passion to work actively with students, makes me a relevant candidate for your tutoring role.
