I have a bit of experience with tutoring, but I have never tutored Psychology before. I am willing to adapt to my students' preferred method of learning. That is, if someone prefers to visualize concepts, I will work on ways to make the abstract visible. If someone prefers to listen, I can make my speech detailed and we can discuss the topics at hand for a more immersive learning experience. I like when my students ask questions and engage in whatever we are discussing, so I tend to allow them to give me their own interpretation of the information before explicitly stating what they must take away from whatever topic.
