My lessons are designed to make GCSE Computer Science understandable, engaging, and confidence-boosting for every student. I focus on breaking down each topic into simple, manageable steps so you never feel lost or overwhelmed. Whether you’re struggling with programming, exam technique, or core theory, I guide you through the content in a clear and structured way.
Lesson format:
* Short explanations to introduce each topic
* Step-by-step walkthroughs of exam-style questions
* Live coding practice (Python or pseudocode)
* Past paper questions to build exam technique
* Quick checkpoints to make sure you fully understand before moving on
How I teach:
I’m patient, encouraging, and great at simplifying difficult ideas. I adjust the pace based on each student’s needs and make sure they feel supported rather than overwhelmed. My teaching style is interactive; I ask questions, encourage students to think through problems, and guide them until the process feels natural. I also create mini practice tasks so students can apply what they’ve learned immediately.
Experience:
I have strong knowledge of GCSE Computer Science content, including algorithms, data representation, networks, computational thinking, logic, programming, hardware and software. I’ve also supported students in my home-school group, which has given me practical experience explaining complex ideas in simple terms. My goal is always to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel supported and motivated.
Every lesson is personalised, exam-focused, and designed to help students truly understand the subject, not just memorise it, so they can achieve higher grades and enjoy learning Computer Science.
