A typical lesson with me would look like this!

First a quick review of what we learned previously, and any questions you might have from your homework/independent studies. That may take five to ten minutes of class. Afterward, we would dive into the lesson. Depending on the area of focus, we may watch a Youtube video, analyze a song, or practice grammar exercises in the target language. That may take ten - twenty minutes. Lastly, I would challenge you to do some practice exercises based on what we just learned! Along the way, I would provide tips, explanations on common cultural elements and feedback on your progress. That portion of class would take another ten - fifteen minutes. To end class, I would leave you with some homework to practice until our next meeting.

Class would take place strictly in English. If explanation is needed and the target language is not clear enough, I ensure you we will find avenues around this to clarify the topic at hand :). Lessons will always be available to you to reference later on. Their yours to keep! After ten lessons, a spoken test would be administered to track your progress for your personal benefit. Your score would not impact our professional arrangement or teacher - student relationship.

Overall, class would take thirty - forty five minutes depending on your preference. English is a worldwide language and I am honored to aid in anyone's journey to learn it! I greatly look forward to working with you!
