Let me introduce myself, my name is Isabel Martínez and I have lived in Seattle for a little over a year. I was born in Spain, so I'm a native. She studied Tourism at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and later did a master's degree in Digital Marketing and Social Media. I have been working for several years in Marketing.
Although I also gave support classes to children in my spare time. I came to Seattle looking for new opportunities and to learn English. Not having a good level of English I had to look for other options, that's why I left marketing aside, and looked for a job as a Spanish teacher, finally, I got a job as a Spanish teacher in a school a year ago and although it was a risky change, I'm happy.
Once we start classes, The first thing I usually do when someone contacts me is to ask what they think their level of Spanish is, if it is zero, we start directly learning vocabulary so that little by little they can make short sentences or understand those sentences. If, on the contrary, you do not know the level, I will take a spoken test and a written one to find out the level and adapt to your needs.
They are very dynamic classes where you will learn to relate words through photographs or videos. Depending on the level we can begin to learn numbers, the pronunciation of the vowels, the basic grammatical structure until maintaining a fluent conversation. The important thing is to learn while having fun.
The important thing is to adapt to the level and focus on the areas you want to improve.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
I'll be happy to help.
