I was born and raised in Spain, which gave me a strong foundation in colloquial, everyday Spanish. I later formalized and deepened my knowledge by studying the language at both GCSE and A-level, where I explored Spanish literary texts and conducted research on various forms of media. I also participated in a language learners' scheme, where I received training in how to deliver Spanish lessons to children aged 9–11, and had the opportunity to teach in two different primary schools.

The way I structure my lessons depends entirely on your goals. If you're preparing for exams, I’ll base our sessions on the specific exam board's specification to make sure we cover everything you need and help you feel fully confident. If you're more interested in informal, native-style Spanish, we’ll explore everyday phrases and build lessons around Spanish culture and communication. For those wanting to master grammar, I can guide you through the principles laid out by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) to help perfect your understanding.

Lesson dynamics will also be shaped by your individual learning style. I always come prepared with a range of activities to help identify what works best for you, because I strongly believe that everyone learns languages differently. I also aim to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions — because open communication is key to successful learning.

Most importantly, I want these lessons to be enjoyable and to engage with you as a learner rather than have you listen to me lecture you. I will always aim to provide lessons where you feel you're not only learning but you're having fun!
