I have a genuine passion for English Literature and enjoy exploring the deeper meanings, ideas and emotions behind different literary texts. For me, literature is much more than simply reading a book or analysing a poem; it is about understanding different perspectives, questioning ideas and discovering how writers use language to communicate powerful messages.
One of the things I enjoy most about English Literature is developing my own interpretations and opinions about characters, themes, relationships and the intentions of writers. I find it fascinating how the same text can be understood in different ways depending on the reader's perspective. I enjoy looking closely at the language, imagery, symbolism and structure used by writers and considering how these techniques influence the reader.
I am particularly interested in discussing themes such as love, identity, conflict, ambition, power, inequality and human nature. I enjoy forming well-supported arguments, exploring alternative interpretations and explaining how evidence from a text can strengthen an opinion. I also understand the importance of expressing ideas clearly, structuring paragraphs effectively and using quotations to support literary analysis.I believe that learning English Literature should be an engaging and enjoyable experience rather than simply memorising information. Everyone has the ability to develop their own ideas, and I would like to encourage students to feel more confident when sharing their opinions and interpreting texts. I aim to explain concepts in a clear, patient and approachable way, helping students understand how to develop their answers and express their thoughts more effectively.
I am enthusiastic about literature and enjoy exchanging ideas, exploring different viewpoints and helping others appreciate the subject. My approach focuses on curiosity, critical thinking, clear communication and building confidence. I would love to support learners who want to improve their understanding of English Literature, develop stronger analytical skills and become more comfortable expressing their own interpretations.
