I will question the student on the specific assistance they require and make a plan going forward. I will cover the content they meed help on, teach them methods and ways to answer the question, one where I model, once where we do it together and then finally one where they try themselves. We will do a variety of questions in difficulty in that topic and progress from there incorporating exam questions and exam technique if applicable. I will based on further context have them do some consolidation independently.
