My method is to teach the fundamental principles and concepts then use industry examples and everyday graphics to interlink with lessons.

In the skill component I will give an example on how it can be done in your software (preferable Adobe) and then give a assignment depending on student level to be submitted in alloted time period, which will analysed and discussed on submission.
