My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I typically use PowerPoint presentations or whiteboards to provide clear explanations and structure, while incorporating problem-solving activities and practice questions throughout the lesson to keep students engaged and actively involved in their learning.
The content of each lesson is adapted to the student's exam board, curriculum, and academic goals. If a student does not have any specific areas they would like to focus on, I can begin with a short assessment to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This allows me to create a personalised learning plan that targets any gaps in knowledge and builds confidence over time.
I have over two years of tutoring experience, teaching a wide range of students from Year 3 through to Year 11. I have supported students in Mathematics and English at KS1 and KS2, 11+ entrance exam preparation, and GCSE subjects. As a medical student, I also have firsthand experience with the medical school admissions process, having successfully completed multiple medical school interviews. This enables me to provide practical guidance for both UCAT preparation and medicine interview practice.
