I’m a friendly, patient, and supportive maths tutor who enjoys helping primary school students improve their understanding and confidence in maths. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always try to adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace and needs. My goal is to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes without feeling embarrassed or pressured.

In my lessons, I focus on explaining concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I break down difficult questions step by step and use plenty of examples and practice questions to help students fully understand the topic before moving on. I can help students with areas such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, times tables, word problems, and general problem-solving skills. I also believe it’s important to make lessons interactive and engaging so students stay interested and motivated while learning.

I know that many children struggle with confidence when it comes to maths, so I always try to encourage and support them throughout the lesson. I believe positive reinforcement and patience are very important when teaching younger students. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades and school performance, but also to help them develop confidence, independence, and a more positive attitude towards maths.

I am organised, reliable, and committed to helping students reach their full potential. I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and become proud of their progress over time.
