My lessons are friendly, supportive, and completely tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. I teach French to students studying at GCSE level, including beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their confidence, grades, or overall understanding of the language.
Lessons are structured but relaxed, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I focus on all key areas of French: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can include conversation practice, grammar exercises, revision techniques, exam-style questions, past papers, and help with homework or coursework.
For GCSE students, I also focus heavily on exam preparation and effective exam techniques to help students maximise marks and feel confident going into assessments. I break down difficult topics into simple explanations and make sure students fully understand concepts before moving on.
As a current university student, I understand the pressures that come with studying and exams, which helps me relate well to students and explain things in a clear and approachable way. I’m patient, encouraging, and organised, and I always aim to make lessons engaging and motivating rather than stressful.
Whether a student is aiming to pass, boost their grades, or become more confident speaking French, my goal is to help them make steady progress and feel proud of their improvement. I also encourage independent learning habits that help students stay motivated, organised, and confident both inside lessons and during revision.
