I am a qualified Physician Associate with a masters in Physician Associate studies and an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences.
I have been tutoring GCSE, KS3 and KS2 students in Science and Maths for 5 years now and have learnt a lot from this rewarding role. I know how difficult exams can be and know that consistent revision is the key to acing exams.
I structure my lessons to include learning content, practice questions, and interactive activities to engage students in the learning process. I begin with a starter activity on last week's topic to test students' memory. I then focus on teaching the new topic through examples, diagrams and practice questions. I end the lessons by having students answer exam questions in timed conditions and occasionally have them do quizzes. I hope to help improve students' confidence in their subjects as well as their academic performance.
