I have been teaching for quite a while now. I started teaching in the year 2008 as soon as I graduated from secondary school. I started with upper basic classes. I was able to impact knowledge through practicals and charts. I went ahead to study industrial mathematics in the university where I added to my knowledge about mathematics. I also learned in the university that every problem has a solution. After university, I taught matcmh in different secondary school. I try to make learning mathematics fun because I observe students dread mathematics. I make them see me as their brother rather than their tutor so they'll be able to meet me at any time comfortably if they have any mathematical issue.
I give lots of mathematics assignments after each tutor in order for students to practice more and to assess if they are actually following me.
I also encourage students to solve at least a mathematics question from any text book a day. This would help as I believe practice makes perfect.
At the moment I am working on simpler ways to solve questions. Ways which would be simpler for children and students to understand.
I encourage them to study mathematics everyday.
