Everyone learns differently, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you want to improve your English by analysing the lyrics of a trending TikTok song, discussing your favourite TV series, or even reading the instruction manual for your hair dryer because you find it oddly calming, we'll build lessons around what motivates you.

As a qualified secondary English teacher, I've taught in very different environments—from lessons under palm trees to classrooms where students have to follow strict behaviour expectations (and might get a warning for watching a squirrel outside!). Those experiences have taught me that effective teaching isn't about one particular setting; it's about understanding the learner in front of you.

My lessons are supportive, engaging, and structured around your goals. I break complex ideas into manageable steps, encourage plenty of discussion, and provide clear feedback so you can see your progress. I believe learning should be enjoyable, but I also believe in working hard together. My aim is for you to leave every lesson feeling more confident, knowing you've learned something valuable, and seeing real progress towards your goals.
