Hello! My name is Idriss Ouail, and I offer friendly, supportive tutoring for primary school students and early secondary school students in a range of subjects, including French, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, and Media Studies.
Although I have recently completed my GCSEs, I achieved strong results throughout my mock examinations and have a solid understanding of the subjects I teach. I was also awarded the Science and Technology Day Award at Aston University and have completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, which helped me develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are carefully structured and tailored to each student's needs. I begin by using short assessments, quizzes, or practice questions to identify areas where the student may be struggling. From there, I focus on specific learning objectives and explain concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and understanding of the subject.
Lessons can include:
Diagnostic quizzes and assessments
Clear explanations of difficult topics
Guided practice questions
Exam technique and revision strategies
Regular progress checks to track improvement
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether a student needs help catching up, strengthening their foundations, or preparing for assessments, I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Lessons are available both online and in person, depending on your preference and location. I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their studies.
