What are my lessons like?

Relaxed, focused, and tailored to you. No two students are the same, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're struggling with diagrams, can’t quite crack essay structure, or want to feel more confident tackling those 25-mark questions, we’ll work on exactly what you need.

Here’s how my lessons usually work:

* Start with a quick check-in — What’s been tricky lately? Any topics you’d like to focus on?

* Core content explained simply — I break things down clearly, using real-life examples so the theory actually sticks.

* Active practice — We’ll apply what you've learned through short-answer questions, diagrams, multiple choice, or essay planning. It’s about building skills, not just listening.

* Exam technique — I’ll show you how to spot what examiners want, structure answers for full marks, and manage your time under pressure.

* Feedback and progress — You’ll always know how you’re doing and what to work on next.

I’ve taught A-Level Economics for several years in both colleges and grammar schools, and I’ve worked with students at every ability level. I’ve also marked for Edexcel, so I know how the examiners think — and I’ll teach you how to think like them too.

My goal is to help you feel more confident, more capable, and (hopefully!) even enjoy Economics a bit more along the way.
