I believe that learning is most effective when students are actively engaged in the material, rather than passively absorbing information. To this end, I strive to create an interactive and supportive learning environment, utilizing a range of teaching methods that cater to different learning styles. In lectures, I use problem-based learning and case studies, in all areas of human physiology including cells and molecular physiology, renal, cardiovascular, respiratory, reproductive, gastrointestinal, and exercise physiology, to stimulate critical thinking and to encourage students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
