My lessons are practical, structured and tailored to each student’s goals. As a professional television editor with over 16 years of industry experience, I focus on teaching the real techniques used in professional post-production.

Lessons are usually conducted online using screen sharing so we can work directly within your editing software. This allows me to demonstrate techniques in real time and guide you step-by-step through editing decisions, workflows and storytelling approaches.

For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in the fundamentals of video editing. This includes understanding editing principles, timeline workflows, and how to construct scenes clearly and effectively.

For more experienced students, lessons can involve reviewing your edits, improving pacing and storytelling, refining dialogue scenes, and developing a more professional editing workflow.
