Tutoring will allow me to share the advice that I once received - and offer guidance wherever I can. As of February, I have offered weekly English literature/ language lessons for a GCSE student, providing me with the experience to confidently support students in their learning. I hope to make my lessons as accessible and affordable as I can - and I am open to any feedback on how I can make adjustments/ improvements.

With your exam board and texts, I can gather, share and discuss a variety of example essays/ resources with you.

My approach is one that encourages dynamic and open discussions to embrace the individual academic interests and passions of each student - and build a curiosity in the subject. This enables students to freely navigate the many interpretations and nuances offered by literary texts alongside the authorial intentions attached to them. To develop students' independent critical thinking and analytical skills, each lesson will keep the close analysis of language and structure as a focal point.
