I worked as Spanish Speaking assistant in a school, working with children ages 7-16, helping them to learn the basics and also prepare for their GCSE exams.
I like using a relaxed approach to teach as I understand that learning a new language can be nerve wracking and challenging. I believe that learning grammar and vocabulary are of the utmost importance, but also that a conversational approach to teaching can help you become a more confident and fluent speaker.
I have enjoyed spending plenty of time in Spanish speaking countries and have a lot of knowledge to share about the culture and history behind many places, which is also part of learning any language!
