Depending on your needs, I will help with reading comprehension and literary analysis, understanding terminology, formatting essays, and general issues with punctuation and grammar. In order to do these things, I will work based on your weak areas in order to build a strong foundation upon which to develop your skills as a whole.

I believe that anybody can enjoy English as a subject, but that it sometimes takes reading the right text or the right level of support to engage a student properly. Therefore, working with you would mean reading fun stories to help you identify the themes and devices, and understand the ways of finding these for yourself in exam settings, or personal readings. These things are skills like any other and will mean a lot of answering questions with small prompts, and then reviewing the answers of higher-level students or professionals. Then, learning how to structure your thoughts in a clearer and higher-mark worthy way. Essentially, first I will k teach how to read a text and find these things, then teach how to use the information to create a good response. And to do this, I will tailor the teaching based on what concepts you understand least, or which areas you feel less confident with when answering questions or discussing literature.

The literature space is like a puzzle with many pieces, and my job is simply to help you find the right pieces and guide you to put them in the right space. In whatever way you will best benefit from my help.
