I build my lessons around my students - The first thing I start with is a basic breakdown of their course from an examiners standpoint, followed by a series of studies to see potential strengths and weaknesses in the student’s technical abilities. Traditionally, I begin the teaching process by assessing their use of the Formal Elements, and the basics of sketching, shading and painting. Then, the student can specify art styles they inhibit, and we explore a range of different styles throughout history to expand their understanding of art through time.

As a multimedia artist myself, I am open to providing creative support for a range of mediums. These include, but are not limited to, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpting, Digital Painting, Collage, Stitching and Metalworking.
Why me?
As a recently graduated student artist, who left Reigate college with an A in Art and Design and 2 Distinction *’s in Creative Digital Media Production and Travel, I have worked in a lot of creativity charged environments. I spent 6 months working as a Tattoo Apprentice for a Tattoo Studio in Dorking, where I would spend hours sketching flash ideas, refining clients visions and ensuring that the finished products I made were pixel-perfect before the tattooing process began. It was here that I learned many of the trade secrets of making designs desirable and adaptable to clients, and ensuring that the formal elements of design were carefully considered in every case we dealt with. I have also worked in a family run Jewellery workshop, where I spent a month receiving 1-on-1 training in the traditional art of silversmithing, which has helped me to branch my creative visions into the 3D realm.
Most importantly, I want to see you or your child succeed and not only get the best possible results in their exams, but help them ignite a genuine passion for art as a whole, and help them find their place going into the creative industry.
