I am an online GCSE Maths tutor with an A* in GCSE Maths, an A in A-Level Maths, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I provide personalised lessons for both Foundation and Higher tier students, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, and achieve their target grades.

My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and delivered online via Zoom. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs, whether that involves revisiting challenging topics, preparing for exams, improving problem-solving skills, or working through exam-style questions. I believe that every student can succeed in Maths when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace.

I take a patient and supportive approach to teaching, breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. Lessons focus on developing understanding rather than memorisation, helping students gain the confidence to tackle questions independently. I encourage students to ask questions throughout and create a relaxed environment where mistakes are viewed as part of the learning process.

Although I am new to professional tutoring, I have experience supporting family members with Maths and have also mentored a young person, which helped me develop strong communication, listening and encouragement skills. These experiences taught me the importance of adapting my approach to suit different individuals and learning styles.

My Psychology degree has given me valuable insight into how people learn and retain information, which I incorporate into my teaching approach. I aim to make lessons engaging, structured and supportive, helping students not only improve their Maths skills but also develop greater confidence in their abilities.
