My lessons are designed to be engaging, flexible, and built around each student’s goals. I believe the best way to learn a language is through genuine interaction, so I focus on creating a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, even if they make mistakes. Each session usually starts with a short warm-up conversation to build confidence and encourage spontaneous speaking. From there, we move on to the main topic of the lesson — this could be grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or listening and reading practice, depending on what the student needs most at that stage. I also like to include short review segments to consolidate what we’ve learned in previous lessons, helping knowledge stick over time.
I like to keep things varied, using a mix of exercises, real-life materials such as short articles, videos, or songs, and interactive activities that make the lesson feel alive and connected to everyday life. For example, we might practice vocabulary through role-plays, short discussions about familiar topics, or practical exercises based on daily scenarios. I also make sure to explain grammar in a clear, simple way that students can immediately apply when speaking or writing.
I’ve tutored children and teenagers before, helping them build solid foundations in French while keeping the lessons fun and motivating. My approach adapts to the learner’s age, level, and interests — some prefer structured lessons with exercises, while others enjoy conversational practice and cultural topics. Overall, my goal is to help students enjoy the learning process, feel more confident with their French, and see clear progress over time, while also sparking a genuine interest in the language and culture.
