As someone who is from a multicultural background and growing up around different languages, I realised that being able to speak to those around you is the first step to feeling like you 'belong' - whether it is a part of a community, amongst your colleagues or in your family, belonging to this by virtue of communication is vital!

My lessons are adapted to suit each student's learning style, cultural background, interests and desires. Why do you want to learn English? It is my job to incorporate parts of YOU in your lessons.

I have experience working in a law firm as a Paralegal and as a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Caseworker where difficult concepts and discussions need to be understood by both parties. With this experience, I have found that I am a people person and love to help others. Both of these jobs require me to encourage others to become more independent and stand on their own feet and this is the ethos I shall bring in my work as a tutor.
