My lessons are very fun and relatable to students as I remember being in their shoes and know how daunting it can be to ask for help. I always get to know my students first and about their likes and dislikes so I can be the person who they actually want to learn from and to adapt my teaching style around them so they are comfortable. My lessons are not boring like some lessons can be because I don’t use overwhelming techniques that may confuse a student but instead use games or comparisons to things the student likes to explain in a simple way and talk through it. I always ensure that students understand whatever topic they may be struggling with until they are confident in it. I can be available any time when a student needs help and will not give up until they feel like they fully understand. I use a range of techniques like going through past papers or question papers, going through and helping students understand any homework or even using educational games or simply talking questions through and showing students ways to work them out. I have also completed my GCSEs where I have a predicted grade 8 in higher maths and am doing an A level in maths aswell.
