I work with you or your child to develop a bespoke learning plan, addressing needs and building confidence. I teach essay skills, which many students lack. My students routinely achieve two grades above their predicted, starting grade. I have experience of different exams boards, teaching both language and literature. I can also support aspiring writers or adults, EAL students and those following Functional Skills programmes for employment. I have SEND experience and have taught in both Primary and Secondary schools in the UK. I like to make my sessions fun, inspiring and engaging and use a variety of methods, including games.
