My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I have experience teaching both English and Chinese to children, teenagers, and adults, in both online and in-person settings. In particular, I have worked with international learners who study Chinese as a second language, and with university students and adults who want to improve their English pronunciation, oral communication, and writing skills.

As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and supportive. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable as well as effective, so I always aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to express themselves.

In terms of teaching methods, I combine conversation practice, cultural topics, and oral training with structured learning of vocabulary and grammar. I adapt the pace and content of each lesson to suit individual goals—for example, improving daily communication, preparing for academic study, or enhancing professional language skills.

With a strong academic background in Education (Master’s degree with distinction and current PhD research in language and education), I bring both practical teaching experience and research-based insights into my lessons. My goal is to help students not only develop their language ability but also enjoy the process of learning and gain confidence in real-life situations.
