I am a young teacher with a specialty in Computer Science. I have taught in a number of schools on the south coast.

My teaching style is non-confrontational and discussion-focused. The contents of the lesson I provide are suitable for students of any learning style, and accommodations can be made for students with particular preferences in how information is shown to them.

I often walk through a presentation with students, with opportunities for discussion and problem-solving, and in classes I also provide a worksheet based on the lesson content for students to solidify their knowledge.

I am always open to hearing from students as to how best to benefit their learning, and so if following a lesson there are arrangements you would like to have made to maximise your opportunities for learning, we can discuss how best to implement those into our lessons. Lessons also make up-to-date links to other subjects or events in the world, as that provides an opportunity to show the continued importance of Computer Science in the modern world.

This is a notoriously challenging subject, so you have already done the right thing by looking for additional support. If we work together I will guarantee greater confidence in the subject itself, and can additionally provide exam support when and where relevant.

I primarily work within the Pearson-Edexcel Computer Science curriculum, but I am happy to support within other versions of the curriculum too (with enough notice!)
