I offer structured, engaging maths lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. A typical lesson will focus on understanding key concepts first, then applying them through practice questions and exam-style problems, so students feel confident not just in theory but in exams as well.

Having achieved A* in Maths and Further Maths, a Gold award in the UK Maths Olympiad, and a First-Class degree in Economics, I have a strong academic foundation. Alongside this, I founded and chaired my school’s Maths Society, where I ran weekly sessions teaching primary school students, helping me develop a clear and patient teaching style.

Importantly, I understand that maths can feel frustrating or even boring at times - I felt the same until I had teachers who explained things in a way that finally clicked. That experience shapes how I teach: I focus on making maths intuitive and approachable, breaking difficult topics into simple steps and adapting explanations until they make sense.

As a recent graduate, I’m also very familiar with current school content and exam techniques, so I can offer up-to-date, relevant support. Whether a student is struggling with confidence or aiming for top grades, I aim to create a supportive environment where they can improve quickly and feel more comfortable with maths.
