Harpreet Kambo

Hi I'm Harpreet - I've taught Maths to primary and secondary students, including SEND students, in small groups and 1:1. My approach is to first understand the students' needs, interests, and learning styles and incorporate these into tutoring sessions. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, which means I did a significant amount of Maths in my degree.

A typical lesson will last 50 minutes. I am punctual and like to ensure that my lessons are very engaging, creative and productive. For example, I may gamify the lesson to make it more exciting, as well as allow movement breaks to recharge the brain. I am very conscious of whether my students are understanding the concepts, and will patiently re-explain topics in various ways until the student grasps the content.

I am confident in my understanding of Math and love challenging myself to do math calculations in my head in order to keep my brain sharp!
