I have privately tutored 11 plus, GCSE, and A level & mentored students in GCSE level content.

I am able to adapt well to suit different learning styles and I'm comfortable changing my teaching methods so each child can learn in a way best for them. I'm friendly and encouraging, and I communicate well with children and with patience which is essential.

I often do practice questions and set homework tasks or practice tests, then go through this in the next lesson, allowing time for questions and recap of content. I feel that effectively correcting answers, and understanding why the answer is right are key to success.

I attained outstanding grades in my GCSEs and A levels in maths, biology and chemistry at a grammar school, so I’m keen to help out younger students using my knowledge and experience.

I offer lessons in person or virtually & I am happy to travel although this would be at additional cost.
