I prefer to take an innovative and creative response during my lessons to be able to fully understand the student's goals in order for the material and the teaching strategy I use to be the most effective and helpful for the student. Tasks will depend on the student's personal aims but the lesson will generally consist of largely speaking in the target language, completing resources and grammar activities that have been set for that lesson, and watching online resources as a source of vocabulary and becoming accustomed to the target language. I aim to be transparent with my students so it is common for me to ask at the end of each lesson if there are any aspects that the student would like to focus on in particular or if the lesson structure is well suited to their personal goals.
