Hannah Girvan

After teaching English as a foreign language in a private bilingual school in Thailand, I have gained the experience and skills to create effective and engaging lessons for students of all abilities. I aim to make lessons that are interactive and varied for my students so that learning English can be something they enjoy. I like to use conversational English in my lessons so that the students can practice speaking and pronunciation and so that their lessons can be tailored to what they would like to practice. I also would like to emphasize that I enjoy using pictures and video examples in my lessons as it is a technique I found to be very effective especially when teaching younger children.

My experience teaching English has shown me that each individual has a different way of learning and that tailoring lessons to their needs and preferences is essential when lesson planning. I would like to emphasize that I am an enthusiastic and bubbly teacher with strong communication skills - making me a strong tutor to choose to learn English with!
