I am an experienced online teacher who focuses on building confidence in your ability to communicate. My classes are fully adaptable to suit the needs of the individual and help you achieve your goals.

Although grammar is important (and we will indeed work hard on your grammar skills), I believe an essential part of language learning is the self-belief that you can communicate in the target language, both understanding and being understood. Many people study a language but as soon as their speaking partner goes "off script" they panic and feel disheartened. Once you develop the skills to understand the overall gist and pick out key words, your language skills will snowball and you'll be confidently chatting in the target language in no time.

I have worked as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher for 6 years now, and this have given me an even greater appreciation of the language-learning process. Having taught my native language as a foreign language, I am able to predict common challenges and help students work through them. It has also taught me how to build a trusting relationship with my students in order to allow them to communicate in the target language without fear of making mistakes.
