Hanna

Hi, I’m Hanna, a Master’s student at Imperial College London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths with a structured and supportive approach, helping students build confidence and improve their exam performance. My lessons are organised around clear goals, breaking down challenging content into simple steps, and using exam-style practice to strengthen understanding and accuracy.

I always tailor my teaching style to each student’s needs and learning preferences. For visual learners, I use diagrams, mind maps and worked examples to make topics easier to understand and remember. For students who prefer a more practical approach, I focus on active problem-solving, guided questions and lots of practice to develop strong exam technique. I also support students with revision strategies, time management and understanding mark schemes so they know exactly what examiners are looking for.

A typical lesson ranges from 1–2 hours depending on preference, and I’m happy to adapt the pace to suit the student. I have 5 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students, with many achieving A–A* grades.
