Hanke Govaert

I am a pre-medical BSc Biological Sciences graduate from Cornell University, with broad experience in subjects ranging from introductory biology and anatomy to general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physics. I am currently pursuing a Master of Research in Cancer Biology at Imperial College London, specializing in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. As an experienced learner and tutor, having taught biology and organic chemistry, I understand that concepts click differently for each student, so I tailor my approach, explaining material in multiple ways until it makes sense. My lessons are interactive, using examples, diagrams, and problem-solving exercises to build understanding, confidence, and long-term retention. Sometimes all it takes is presenting information differently. I also provide old exam materials and personal lecture notes for extra practice and new perspectives. Additionally, I can offer guidance in study planning for STEM subjects or insights into a career in medicine or academia
