About me:
As a native French speaker, I have always been passionate about languages and literature. I hold a BA in French Literature and Language and a BA in English Studies from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, followed by an MA in Comparative Literature from Sorbonne Université. I completed the final year of my master’s degree at University of Cambridge as an exchange student in the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics. This academic background, together with my classroom experience, allows me to support students with both linguistic accuracy and a genuine appreciation of French language and culture.
About my tutoring style:
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether they are preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, improving their spoken French, or simply looking to strengthen their overall ability. During our first session, I assess their current level, identify areas for improvement, and create a personalised learning plan.
My lessons are engaging, supportive and well-structured, combining grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing as appropriate. Having taught A-level French in schools, I am familiar with exam requirements and can help students improve their exam technique, revise effectively and gain confidence. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while still being challenged to achieve their full potential.
