My lessons are delivered online via Teams or Zoom in a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I carefully plan each session in advance to ensure it is structured, focused, and productive.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether that’s strengthening key foundations, practising exam-style questions, or reviewing challenging topics. I balance clear explanations with guided practice, regular weekly feedback, and opportunities for independent thinking to build both understanding and confidence.

As a current GCSE Maths and English tutor, I understand both the content and the exam expectations students are working towards. Each lesson usually begins with a short recap to reinforce prior learning, followed by clear teaching of the focus topic, and then structured exam-style practice. I model high-quality answers, break down mark schemes, and teach students exactly what examiners are looking for.

I set purposeful homework after most sessions to consolidate learning, and I mark all work thoroughly with detailed feedback so students know their strengths and precise areas for improvement. Over time, I aim to build not just academic ability, but resilience, independence, and real confidence — so students feel prepared, capable, and in control of their progress.
