I've had experience tutoring many other students in learning from the age of 14 years old, due to my willingness to understand, patience and encouragement. I will always adjust my pace to that of the person I am tutoring so that we can bring out the best results that YOU can achieve.
I create my own PowerPoints that include an easy to follow guide towards the lessons I will teach, I am able to answer any questions needed to the best of my ability. I would like to point out that students will need an answer book/paper and pens during our sessions, as I will be asking questions, and I will be looking into having the student working hands on. It is vital that a student works physically, not only from looking at a screen.
We will follow a set time session of how many hours a student would need - the maximum hours I am able to meet is 4 hours of session time, with a 1 hour break for the student to catch a breather in between. If the session is 3 hours and less, then the student in permitted a 30 minutes to 45 minutes break. I want to ensure that I bring out as much learning to the table as possible. If the session is 1-2 hours, then in that case I would like to highlight that this would mean if the student would ask for a break, it would be a maximum of 15 minutes.
Requirements: During breaks, a student camera is allowed to be off, however to ensure that a student is working to their best ability, I would like that during our sessions for their camera to be on unless a valid reason occurs for their camera to be off. I would like the student to be showing me their work when asked and if they need help, it is vital that the student asks.
