My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and ability. As a qualified secondary English teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4, I focus on building confidence, strengthening core literacy skills and developing students' analytical and creative writing abilities.

Each lesson typically begins with a short retrieval activity, followed by clear explanations, guided practice and independent tasks to consolidate learning. I use modelling, targeted questioning and constructive feedback to support progress.

For GCSE students, I provide focused support with English Language and Literature, including exam techniques, essay writing, textual analysis and revision strategies. My aim is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential.
