Hadi Kassem

Hi! I'm a Maths tutor and a First-Class MEng Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Strathclyde. I achieved A grades in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Maths, and I now use mathematics regularly in my professional career as a Civil Engineer.

I offer online Maths tuition for students studying Scottish S1–S3, National 5, KS3 and GCSE, helping them strengthen their understanding, build confidence and prepare for exams.

I understand that Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when topics become more challenging. My approach is to make things simple, breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and explaining them in a way that makes sense to each student.

**What can you expect from my lessons?**

Every lesson is tailored to the student's ability, learning pace and individual goals. I usually begin by identifying areas where they need support, before working through clear explanations, practical examples and questions together.

I encourage students to ask questions, think independently and develop a genuine understanding of the methods they're using, rather than simply memorising answers.

For students preparing for National 5 or GCSE exams, I incorporate past-paper questions, exam techniques and targeted revision to help them feel more confident approaching assessments.

Having previous experience with online Maths tutoring and professional mentoring, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement and adapting explanations to suit different learners.

Whether you're struggling with the basics, looking to improve your grades or preparing for an upcoming exam, my goal is to make Maths easier to understand and help you reach your potential.
