In general, I start my lessons by trying to illicit some information related to the topic being explained from my students and after that I get on with the actual teaching, throughout the lesson I prefer giving various activities to further get the point across.
One of the things I prefer as well is giving assignments after each session/ lesson, specially in writing workshops.
In order to learn any language, we have to practice, and that is what I aim for; to practice with my students and not just to give them explain some stuff and that would be all. Practicing makes people more confident in their own skin, and gives them the ability to accept new challenges.
I have been tutoring for 2+ years; some of the experience was private tutoring and other parts were where I worked with companies.
I have taken the "IELTS" exam and got a total band score of 7.5
