I am an international concert pianist who completed Grade 8 Trinity College London with distinction and was accepted into the Juilliard School. Although I chose to keep piano as a personal passion rather than pursue a formal degree, music has remained a central part of my life. I have continued performing and teaching, sharing both my technical training and enthusiasm for music with students of all ages and abilities.
My lessons are supportive, structured, and carefully tailored to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests. For beginners, I focus on building strong and healthy foundations, including correct posture, hand position, note reading, rhythm, and basic musical awareness. Establishing these fundamentals early helps students develop confidence and good habits that will support their progress as they advance.
For intermediate and more advanced students, lessons focus more deeply on musical interpretation, tone production, phrasing, and expressive performance. Students are introduced to a variety of classical repertoire and are guided in understanding stylistic differences between musical periods. Alongside repertoire, we work on developing technique through scales, arpeggios, and targeted exercises that strengthen finger independence, coordination, and control.
A typical lesson includes technical practice, repertoire study, and elements of sight-reading and broader musical understanding. My aim is to create lessons that are both engaging and encouraging, helping students develop not only technical skill but also confidence, creativity, and personal expression at the piano. For students who are interested, lessons can also incorporate a more creative approach, including basic composition and improvisation.
I welcome students learning for enjoyment, those wishing to develop their skills further, and anyone preparing for exams, auditions, or performances.
