Hi, I’m Gurwinder! ??

I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher with a PGCE in Primary Education from UCL and experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.

I offer personalised tutoring in:

?? English – reading, comprehension, writing, spelling and grammar
? Maths – fluency, problem-solving and building confidence
?? KS1 & KS2 curriculum support
?? Targeted support for children who need extra help or challenge

My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each child’s needs. I begin by identifying areas of strength and where additional support is needed, then use clear explanations, modelling, guided practice and independent activities to build understanding and confidence. Lessons are interactive and adapted to suit each child’s pace and learning style.

I have experience supporting children of all abilities, including EAL pupils, as well as delivering targeted reading and maths interventions. My goal is to help children make academic progress while becoming confident, independent learners.

I also speak Punjabi and Hindi, which can be helpful for families where English is an additional language.
