Guniz Seval

I work in a London primary school and have four years of teaching experience, alongside more than 15 years of tutoring experience. Over the years, I have supported learners of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, helping them build confidence, strengthen key skills, and enjoy the learning process.

I have also worked as a translator and localisation expert, which has developed my communication skills and my ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt them for different needs. This experience has helped me become patient, flexible, and attentive to detail—qualities that I bring into every lesson.

My teaching style is warm, supportive, and engaging. I am particularly skilled at scaffolding learning, breaking down tasks into manageable steps so that learners feel successful and motivated. I enjoy creating lessons that are fun, interactive, and tailored to individual needs, while still keeping clear learning goals in mind.

I truly believe that every learner can make progress when they feel understood, encouraged, and appropriately challenged. My aim as a tutor is to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, take risks, and develop a genuine love of learning.

I take time to understand each learner’s goals, strengths, and areas for development so that sessions feel relevant and purposeful. Whether focusing on confidence, fluency, exam preparation, or general skill-building, I aim to make learning clear, enjoyable, and rewarding. I value progress at every stage and encourage independent thinking, curiosity, resilience, and a positive attitude towards lifelong learning and personal growth.
