My lessons are designed to create a safe, grounding, and supportive space where students can reconnect with their bodies and calm their nervous system. Each session is carefully structured but always adaptable to the needs and energy of the student on that day.
We usually begin with a short check-in and grounding practice to help you arrive fully in the present moment. This is followed by breathwork (pranayama) to regulate the nervous system and prepare the body and mind for movement. The physical practice is a blend of Yin and Hatha yoga, combining gentle, held postures with mindful flow to improve flexibility, release deep tension, and build inner awareness.
A strong focus of my teaching is somatic awareness—helping students notice sensations, emotions, and patterns in the body without judgment. I integrate trauma-informed principles and Polyvagal-inspired understanding of safety and regulation, so every practice supports emotional balance and resilience, not just physical fitness.
Each class also includes guided meditation or relaxation techniques to support deep rest and integration. I encourage students to move at their own pace, offering variations and modifications so every body feels included and respected.
With years of experience in yoga, mindfulness, and embodied practices, I bring a calm, intuitive, and compassionate teaching style. My aim is not performance, but awareness, healing, and connection. Over time, students often report reduced anxiety, better sleep, improved body awareness, and a deeper sense of inner stability and self-trust.
Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, my sessions are a space to slow down, reconnect, and gently transform from within.
