I am a native Italian tutor with over six years of teaching experience in Italy and abroad. Originally from Sicily, I have lived in Milan, Florence, Pisa, Siena, Spain, and Melbourne, Australia, giving me a broad perspective on language learning and cultural exchange. Teaching Italian is my passion, and I love helping students discover the beauty and richness of our language.

Many students feel nervous about speaking and worry about making mistakes. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and essential part of learning a language. In my lessons, I create a patient, supportive and encouraging environment where students feel safe to try, experiment and gradually build their confidence.

My approach is interactive, communicative and highly personalised. I focus on real conversation from the first lesson, helping students gain fluency while naturally improving grammar. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals, whether preparing for a trip, conversing with family, studying for exams, or simply enjoying Italian culture.

I use a variety of resources, including textbooks, online platforms and authentic materials, to make lessons engaging, practical and relevant. My mission is to make learning Italian joyful and enriching, guiding students to overcome fear, embrace mistakes and speak confidently.
