I am a picture learner so I will base my lessons via diagrams, real world examples and walkthrough answers. I understand the difficultly of grasping tricky topics and will take time explaining them to you. At the start of our session we will go through what you struggle with and create a plan of action to ensure you feel confident when going into that exam hall. I believe practice makes perfect so be ready of practice questions and learning the mark scheme to ensure all the marks and awarded. Each student will get a personalised plan that ensures tailored learning for maximum results and monthly check ins to see what has improved and what is still a working area (using the traffic light system). I will advice on what YouTube channels and websites will help to aid learning and as it’s always good to have an extra source. Once the topics of interest is chosen I will formulate a PowerPoint to go through these concepts, making sure I ask all your questions throughout then I will give you sample questions at the end to test your understanding. Afterwards I will give you homework to do after our session to provide goals and motivate you to continue pushing your knowledge and getting those higher grades. I will also give you access to my notes which you can use as a tool for revision and testing. After each block a mock test will be put in place and I expect you to complete it in exam conditions this is where your weakness will show and then we can pivot and improve them.
